Vines:
These Sauvignon Blanc grapes are sourced from our family vineyards planted in Vila Real, in a plateau with 500 meters of altitude, located in the Douro valley. This vineyard has an average age of 30 years.
Vinification:
80% of the wine ferments in stainless steel vats, and 20% of the wine ferments in French new oak barrels.
Ageing:
80% of the grapes were vinified using direct pressing and fermented in stainless steel vats with temperature control at 15C. The other 20% aged in French new oak barrels for 4 to 5 months.
Tasting Notes:
Color: Beautiful vivid lemon citrus color.
Nose: Very fresh and aromatic, it is alive, exuberant, full of fruit, and like the previous vintages, it suggests pineapple, light apricot, asparagus and nuances of tropical fruits such as passion fruit.
Mouth: It's fresh, very tasty, excellent structure and good acidity, supported by fresh fruit flavours, light tropical touches, voluminous and very pleasant to drink.
