DOC DOURO 2021
MERUGE RED 2021
MERUGE RED 2021
A wild plant and a wine concept that captures the essence of the vineyard, bringing it to life in the glass. This elegant and expressive red is unlike the typical Douro, crafted from two high-altitude, north-facing plots that emphasise acidity, one in Celeirós and the other in São João da Pesqueira, in Cima Corgo sub-region. It pays homage to Tinta Roriz, youthful and fresh, balanced by a duo of Tourigas, Nacional and Franca. Vinified in a press with minimal extraction, it stands out for its distinctive finesse and elegance, paired with remarkable complexity and ageing potential.
